What is linseed oil?

Linseed oil is a yellowish oil derived from the dried seeds of the flax plant. It is used in industrial applications such as wood Finish and Preservative. It is commonly used in woodworking as a finish or preservative. It penetrates the wood, protecting it from moisture while giving it a rich, deep color. It can also be applied to hurls to enhance durability.

How do I apply the oil to my hurl?

Extend the longevity of your hurl with the Mystery Camán raw Linseed oil. This comes as a 30 ml bottle. We suggest to apply one coat let it dry, lightly sand the hurley, and then apply a second coat for added protection. The oil can be applied with an old rag. The perfect addition to your new hurl.
